Features

What does the app do?

The app contains all kinds of content from team schedules to live streams. Click here to learn more.

The event I want to watch is not on the live stream.

Unfortunately, at this point in time, we only offer streams for basketball and wresting events.

If the event you are referring to is a basketball game or wrestling match and it is not on the live stream, it might be because only one event can be displayed in the player at one time. If multiple events go live, your event will still be streaming, however you may have to visit it online. To view a list of all our events currently streaming, tap More.

Why is there nothing in this event recap?

In some cases you may come across an empty event recap. There are two possible reasons for this.

1.) If the event just ended, the recap might not be posted yet. Expect at least a few hours before the recap is available.
2.) Other events in the list may not have even started yet, so there will be no recap until those events have concluded.

How can I get the Notification Center widget?

You can learn about the Featured Events Widget here.

If you want to set multiple custom teams at once, you can do so by setting up multiple users. Each device is allowed up to three users and each user can have a different team set.

To set up a new user or edit existing ones, go to the app settings (from the main menu) and tap the Users button in the navigation bar. From here you can set up new users, edit their names, or remove them. If your device is Touch ID capable, you can also choose to lock user switching with your fingerprint.

From then on, whenever you change any settings, they will only change the settings for the user currently selected. The other users' configurations won't be affected.

You can switch between users in the My Team section. Just tap the user icon in the navigation bar and select the user you want to load.

What is the custom schedule and how do I get started?

The custom schedule displays the schedule for the selected team and places a shortcut in the main menu for quick access. The schedule is also capable of generating push notifications for your events.

To set up the custom schedule, go to the app settings (from the main menu) and tap My Schedule. Once there, make sure that the toggle is switched on. Once you enable that, you can also set up automatic event reminders, and sync with the Calendar app.

How can I enable Automatic Event Notifications?

Go to the app settings (from the main menu) and tap My Schedule. Once there, make sure that the toggle is switched on. Now enable Automatic Game Reminders.

How do I sync my team's schedule with the Calendar app?

Go to My Schedule and tap the calendar icon in the navigation bar. From there, tap the Add to calendar button.

It says my team isn't on Twitter

While quite a few of our teams now have Twitter accounts, many of them do not. In such cases we display the Marianapolis Athletics account instead.

If you are interested in creating an account for your team, please feel free to do so. However, please keep in mind that the Tech Innovations team does not provide this service. The teams are responsible for creating and maintaining their own accounts.

If you already have an account and it is not currently listed in our app, we can add your account in a future update. If you would like us to do that, please contact us.
